Today is Pancake day … a day my family celebrate to the full extent ~ WHY ??
This year Moo is old enough to make the batter himself .. which the poor lamb had to hand mix with a balloon whisk because the mixer wasn’t working … later when I came to turn on the cooker I realised the mixer wasn’t in fact broken, but the electricity box had ‘tripped’ D’oh
Anyhoo his batter was made to perfection
Post pancake would be an ideal time to photograph my latest yarn dyeing experiments I thought to myself … here I am all geared up with a photoshoot to rival David Bailey when this happens
First of all I take my hat off to anyone whose household includes a child ~ you all deserve a medal .. goodness I’d forgot what to expect when Moo became a more permanent fixture in my life ..time goes right out of the window even being super organised my day is 5 hrs shorter than anyone else’s !!

Beloved becomes ‘Unbusy’ as of 18 th December ..he gets made redundant – I’m saying he will be Unbusy, he will actually be taking on the role of
This will free up invaluable time for me to take up what feels like semi permanent residence at ‘The Workplace’ I’m on a 2 week rota which entails one week of a minimum of 35 hrs and the second week at a minimum of 49 hrs ….. as if I’m not lucky enough I also doing …
AND I’ve been commissioned to whip up a knitted storm of baby garments, for a colleagues daughter whom is expecting a surprise yet very welcomed addition to her family
Please know I am reading your blogs even though I’m not commenting as much, I’ll only be doing infrequent posts for the foreseeable future but I’d like to thank everyone who has shown support for my inane ramblings 🙂
